Markets began strongly in 2020, carrying on from where they left off in 2019, but recent turbulence emanating from the Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak has seen markets sharply lower in the final week of February 2020.
It is very important to separate the reaction of economies as opposed to markets as they are not necessarily correlated.
The market has reached buying levels and does represent value, but it has been overtaken by fear, which is why we believe it will go lower, as in times like this fundamentals are often ignored.
