Hamilton Wealth News

What has happened to the plans to reform financial advisers?

Jane Hume, the Assistant Minister for Superannuation, Financial Services and Financial Technology, has announced two key changes for the financial advice industry:

● An extension to the requirement for all advisers to complete the Financial Adviser Standards and Ethics Authority (FASEA) exam by one year to January 1, 2022.

● All advisers must meet the FASEA qualification requirements by an additional two years to January 1, 2026
