This month we discuss our concerns around complacency that can reflect the nature of bubbles, herd mentality and speculation in instruments such as Bitcoin.

We also commence a discussion on how the start of 2018 for the US S&P 500 has been the strongest start to a year since 1987, and for a market like Hong Kong it performed just under 10 per cent for the month, yet our own domestic Australian market closed -0.45 per cent for January.
